APBN

With well over 200 bodies and associations in Nigeria, only a few are elligible to become members of the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN).
Below is a list of criteria that must be met to be a member body of the APBN:



  1. Its must be a professional body setup an Act of Parliament or Decree
    • Its must be a professional body recognized by convention of the APBN
    • Its must be a professional body recognized by convention of the APBN
    • Its must be a professional body that satisfies any other conditions which the Board of the Association
    • Its must be a professional body recognized by convention of the APBN
  2. Application for admission to membership of Association shall be considered by the Board of the Association, and Board, and the Board Shall have full discretion as to the admission of any professional body to the membership of the Association
  3. Every member of APBN shall be obliged to further to their best ability, the objects and interest of the Association. It shall also observe all bye-laws or regulations, orders, notice or rules made at any time by the Association.
  4. Application for membership of the Association shall be made to the Secretary General in writing and in such form as many be prescribed.
  5. A member of the Association shall cease to be a member if such a member cease to be a professional body or association in the opinion of the Board. However the decision shall have to be ratifies by the general assembly.
